Annie Howell, Senior Associate

Annie Howell is a Senior Coach for Minds at Work, and has been facilitating personal and professional development through the Four Column Exercise and Meaning Making Interviews for over 7 years. She received her Ed.M. and Ed.D. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education where her research focused on adult development and transformational learning. Annie is also currently a Director in the Boston Public Schools' Office of Professional Development and was a Senior Fellow at the Change Leadership Group, where she facilitated conversations and led programs on leadership and team building. Annie is co-author of Change Leadership: A Practical Guide to Transforming our Schools (2006) and "Putting the Development in Professional Development," which appeared in Harvard Educational Review, (fall 2008). Throughout the year, Annie spends as much time as possible exploring the outdoors with her husband and her two inquisitive children, August and Margot.
